School Council elections

Voting took place this week for our School Council representatives.

Each pupils wrote a manifesto, and each form voted for a representative to represent them on the Council:

I would like to be on the school council because I want to look out for the little ones.

I would like to be on the school council because I want to talk at the meeting.

My Manifesto, by Emily, Form 2
I will be a tremendous school councillor. My name is Emily. I will try my best to change the school. I will have fantastic ides and thoughts and I have a good imagination, will be kind and donít give up.

My Manifesto, by Ankit, Form 2
I would be a tremendous member of the school council because I have excellent ideas. I have a brilliant imagination. I am also kind to people, because if a teacher needs something I will give it to them. I wonít just give a teacher what they want, I will also give ither people what they want.

My Manifesto, by Sundeep, Form 3
Hello everyone. My name is Sundeep. I would like to be the Form Three representative. There are lots of reasons why I would make a fabulous rep on the council. Firstly, I have a good memory, so I will remember when the meetings are. Secondly, I am good at listening. I have lots of good ideas. We could have a shoes day when we wear our home shoes.

Hello everyone. My name is Lizzie. I would like to be the Form 3 representative. Firstly I have lots of good ideas, like a funny hair-do day. Secondly, I am a good listener and a very confident person. I remember a lot.

My Manifesto, by Annabelle, Form 4
Hello, my name is Annabelle. I am in Form 4 and I would love to be your council representative. There are many reasons why I would be the best rep.
Firstly, I am responsible. When someone tells me to do something, I do it and I donít forget. Secondly, I have a good memory and I wonít forget to be there. Thirdly, I will remember when the meetings are and come with lots of good ideas. Here are some of them. firstly we can have a play boat for the upper school and on the grass a water fountain. My Manifesto, by Sofia, Form 4
Hello, my name is Sofia and I am in Form 4. I would like to be the School Council rep because I was in another school and they had some great ideas and maybe we could use some of their ideas. Here are some of them. We could make another playground. You will need me because I am very smart and you need to be smart to be on the School Council. Secondly, I have a lot of ideas to make the school better. I am responsible, so you will maybe choose me. I am also a very good listener to your ideas. My idea is to dress up as rock stars! I also have an amazing memory. This is all of my speech. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Amelia and I am nine years old. I came to St Winifredís in From Three, but left for a year in France.
I would be a good School Council rep. as I have been one before. I am a clever speaker and have good ability to concentrate.
I also have good ideas and can listen for a long time and can sit still easily.

Hello everyone, my name is Himani and I am eight years old. I have already been in the School Council before, so I have lots of helpful experience and I have been at St Winifredís School for six years now, since Reception.
Firstly, I am a very good listener and will not be rude by talking when somebody else is talking about their classes ideas and I will concentrate on the conversation.
Secondly, I am a confident speaker and have a very strong voice and communicate well with a variety of different people.
Thirdly, I am organised and keep all my books and work very tidy.
Last of all, I hope everyone was convinced to vote for me by my wonderful talk and I hope I will be the best rep you know!

My Manifesto, by George, Form 6
Hi Year 6, my name is George and I am ten years old. I have been in this school for a whole eight years.
My best skill is that I am a good communicator, as shown in school tours. This is an important skill to have in School Council.
Another good skill that I have is that I am very good at listening and taking in thoughts and ideas which is one of the reasons I was picked to be school rep in previous years.
Lastly I am an excellent role model so the younger children act as I do.
Overall, I think I would make a brilliant class rep, soÖ

My Manifesto, by Sanjiv, Form 6
My name is Sanjiv and I am ten years old and I am in the sixth form and I have been at St Winifredís for four years. My favourite game is football. I would like to be on the School Council. Here are some of my reasons. My first reason is that I am a perfect listener and very polite to all members of the school. My next reason is that I am well behaved. I do as Iím told straight away. I never shout out and I always put my hand up.
